We are passionate about Devon cooking
and good dining where the atmosphere is comfortable, interesting, relaxed, friendly and all round good fun!
We’ve been watching the Come Dine with Me and Restaurant in your own Home
programmes and have been inspired to open our own home, Little-Lillies, as a pop-up restaurant social dining event for a short
time only. The Dartmoor weather only adds to the drama of our setting and our new English vineyard adds a lovely backdrop
making for an authentic English vineyard restaurant like experience. Eventually we’ll share our English wine.
Eating locally is a great way
of being part of the community and with Exeter just 15 minutes away, we are able to complement the best of Exeter Dining.
Our menus are planned as far as we can but we never really know for sure what’s on until speaking
with our local suppliers, making it all the more interesting and relevant.
All over the UK, people like us are beginning to register with the Open for Dinner scheme www.openfordinner.co.uk either as hosts (or would be guests) for secret dinners and dining events. These are
staged at homes or in unusual hidden, private places and spaces that are not normally open to the public creating an atmosphere
of drama and mystery. Pop up restaurants are sprouting up everywhere near
you!
The website displays what’s on in your area and encourages
guests and hosts to let the venue drive the menu thereby adding to the fun and making it a totally site specific dining event!
There is also a CD on how to do it plus 100+ fail safe recipes for up to 10 at a time.
Opening Little-Lillies for a short period is our way of sharing our Devon cooking and dining
passions with you and we hope you’ll join us for one of the six evenings we’re open – 5th &
6th Feb, 5th & 6th Mar, 2nd & 3Rd April for great food, great
service and great yarns!
We'll also be supporting the Ovarian Cancer Action charity and all proceeds from the
night of the 5th March will be donated.
Welcome and Enjoy!
